AFRICAN Distillers Limited (AFDIS), Zimbabwe's largest spirits, ciders and wine manufacturing company has launched a nationwide promotion in which consumers will win three houses in Harare as a way of giving back to the community.
The promotion runs from April 19 to September 30, 2016.
To enter the promotion, which is strictly for Zimbabweans aged 18 years and above, participants have to buy one 750ml or two 200ml bottles of Gold Blend Whisky, complete the entry form on the neck tag attached to the bottles, then make an envelope out of the tag and enclose the bottle closures.
The completed forms are deposited in entry boxes provided in stores.
The promotion will support access to housing. "Shelter is a fundamental human right which many Zimbabweans are striving to obtain.
We want to give back to our consumers by giving them an opportunity to own a house," said Donna Marowa, AFDIS brand manager.
Zimbabwe has an estimated housing backlog of 1.5 million units.
All the three houses that will be won are in Harare and the prizes are not transferable to cash.
