National Railways of Zimbabwe workers have reportedly begged top management to fire them.
The workers said it was pointless to continue reporting for duty without pay.
Workers have gone for more than 18 months without pay.
"The workers told top brass to issue them with dismisal letters.
"They said they cannot continue working for no pay" said an insider.
Recently it was revealed that to bosses received almost $1 million in salaries last year processed through an executive bank account held with a local bank.
