Biti blasts reintroduction of ZimDollar idea

Former Finance Minister Tendai Biti has said the opposition MDC alliance will offer it's alternative policy vision and critique of 2018 budget today.
"The MDC ALLIANCE will offer its alternative policy vision and critique of the 2018 Budget at 11am, on 8 December 2017 at Harvest House 44 Nelson Mandela Avenue Harare All are welcome," said Biti.
Biti also took to micro-blogging social network, Twitter, and said the current government might reintroduce the Zimbabwe dollar.
"There is real danger that the regime may reintroduce the Zim $. The country is years away from having sufficient reserves to support a currency .
"Besides once you dollarise you can't go back it is confidence issue."
