Excellent progress on Zimbabwe fiscal budget deficit reduction.

In the month of September 2018, the fiscal budget was balanced and the deficit was almost zero

Professor Mthuli Ncube, Zimbabwe Minister of Finance said that there has been "Excellent progress on Zimbabwe fiscal budget deficit reduction in the month of September 2018, the fiscal budget was balanced."

The deficit was almost zero and he added that he hopes for this trend to continue to the end of the year.

"This will contribute to stabilising the currency and in containing inflation," he said.
