Zimbabwe urged not to tamper with Chinese investments: China

Chinese Vice Premier Wang Qishan said on Monday that China supported
Zimbabwe's drive for local people to own majority stakes in foreign
firms but urged the government not to tamper with Chinese investments.
"China understands the need for indigenisation and empowerment but we hope Zimbabwe will protect the legitimate right of Chinese businesses in the country," Wang said at a briefing with Vice-President Joice Mujuru
