Reserve Bank owes local companies and NGO $1.1billion

The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) owes local companies and non-governmental organisations $1,1 billion, Finance minister Tendai Biti has revealed.
Addressing delegates attending the signing ceremony of the Bilateral Investment Protection and Promotion Agreement between Zimbabwe and Botswana on Monday, Biti said his ministry was in the process of crafting a RBZ debt restructuring Bill to deal with such issues.
