Air Zimbabwe has increased flights to Victoria Falls ahead of the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) General Assembly to be held later this month.
After August was declared a UNWTO month, the national flag carrier is now providing two flights daily between Harare and the Victoria Falls.
In a statement, Air Zimbabwe Public Relations Executive, Ms Shingai Taruvinga said the twice daily flights from the 7th to the 10th of this month will give travellers a convenient transport service into the tourist destination.
Charter flights will also be readily available.
The national flag carrier has been on a drive to capture the market with flights into the region being increased and efforts are underway to resume the Harare-London flights before the end of the year.
The UNWTO General Assembly will be held from the 24th to the 29th of this month with a golf tournament starting this week in the resort town.
