Zimbabwe gold output depressed

Zimbabwe's gold production declined by 8.64% in June 2013 as the sector continues to be affected by the falling price of the metal.
Figures released by the African Development Bank show that the country's month-on-month total gold deliveries for June 2013 slumped to 1 033.49kgs from 1 131.27kgs in May.
On a year on year basis, total gold deliveries declined by 9.89% to 1 033.49kg in June 2013 from 1 146.94kg in June 2012.
