Chinamasa to court investors in UK

Finance Minister Patrick Chinamasa is expected to lead a high level of Zimbabwean business executives and government officials to London as government intensifies efforts to court global investors.
According to sources Chinamasa would lead a 40 member team which includes Reserve Bank Governor John Mangudya, representatives from Bankers Association of Zimbabwe, commercial, merchant and development banks, mobile phone operators, assert managers, stock brokers and pension funds.
Government has ion the past criticized Britain for spearheading economic sanctions and signals for investors not come to Zimbabwe.
One observer said the foray into London appears to suggest that Zimbabwe was becoming more aggressive in trying to court capital from, after China touted as the country's all weather friend failed to bankroll the country from economic quagmire.
