Zimbabwe has been advised to seek an alternative currency as predictions are that the US dollar might sink deeper.
The recent downgrading of the United States economy is affecting other big economies in the world and on the local front economic analysts on government to find an alternative currency as predictions are that the US dollar might sink deeper.
Economic analyst Mr. Chris Kasiyazi told ZBC News that the government should start exploring alternative currencies as the US economy is not likely to be recovering soon.
A Zanu-PF House of Assembly Member, Patrick Zhwao, said the relegation of the US economy is also a sign of bad governance as this is the first time that such a phenomenon has happened to a super power.
