Government is targeting at attracting foreign direct investment from BRICS nations, Macro-economic Planning and Investment Promotion minister Obert Mpofu has said.
To that end, investment roadshows are planned to Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa (BRICS).
"Plans are advanced for us to visit BRICS countries to scout for investment and our Diaspora Community.
"My ministry is working on a comprehensive Diaspora policy to attract Diaspora skills and investments," said Mpofu while addressing a business meeting at the ongoing ZITF on Wednesday.
Mpofu said the country's investment climate was affected by "negative stories".
"Too many negative stories about the investment climate destroy the country's drive towards attracting investment.
"Let us make the environment attractive to bring investors to Zimbabwe."
