Govt to reposes idle land

Lands Minister Douglas Mombeshora has again warned farmers that Government would not hesitate to reposes idle land from absent owners.
He also said those who refuse to pay rentals would also be evicted. Mombeshora told a farmers meeting at ZITF today.
"We are concerned with productivity on the land. How can we assist farmers to be productive?
"Farmers refused to contribute $5 and offered $2. I said its fine, I will go the legislative way".
"Absentee landlords will lose their pieces of land," said Mombeshora.
