Vimbai up for eviction in Big Brother Amplified

VIMBAI Mutinhiri faces a fight to stay in Big Brother Africa this week after Botswana's Zeus, by virtue of being 'head of the house', swapped places with her on the nominations.
After all 26 housemates had an eviction-free night on Sunday May 8, 2011 after their "audition" week, the fifteen (15) housemates in the original Big Brother Amplified house tagged "The Heads" went through a dreaded first nomination show on Monday May 9, 2011.
Unfortunately Ghana's representative in the "Heads" house, Confidence Haugen is up for eviction. She topped the nomination chart with five votes from five different house-mates (Bernadina from Namibia, Felicia from Malawi, Michael from Mozambique, Millicent from Kenya and Vina from Nigeria) who want her out of the house.
Quite uncharacteristically, Confidence, for once, forgot it was all a game; that one had to simply play his/her cards well to stay in the house. She put up such a tantrum in surprising fashion by screaming at the top of her voice immediately Big Brother mentioned her name as the first housemate up for eviction.
"I knew it, I knew they (fellow housemates) were going to nominate. I knew it," a hysterical Confidence yelled. She looked clearly stressed out (without her cigarettes) and unjustifiably angry on hearing her name and it was obvious she could not take her eviction in stride as she aimlessly walked about, even when the live nomination announcement was still on-going.
She almost broke down in tears, when Hanni (one of her closest housemate) from Ethiopia tried to calm her down after her initial outburst. Not even explanations from Hanni that not all the housemates nominated her for eviction could quieten her.
Vimbai (who is also up for eviction, though she is unaware of this, since Head of House, Zeus, saved himself and put her – Vimbai – in his stead), walked up to Confidence and also tried to offer her some solace. But the Ghanaian will have none of it saying she cannot pretend everything was okay and that they were one happy family in the "Heads" House. According to her, there is no way she can come to grips with how her fellow housemates can smile up to her and still put her up for Eviction.
In all, six housemates are up for eviction: Confidence (Ghana) with 5 nominations, Danny (Ethiopia) with 4 nominations, Jossy (Namibia) with 4 nominations, Vina (Nigeria) with 4 nominations, Weza (Angola) with 3 nominations and Vimbai (Zimbabwe) with 2 nominations.
Zeus, from Botswana, was the one up for eviction but as Head of House he saved himself and chose the Zimbabwean to replace him. Meanwhile, the "Tails House" which has eleven (11) housemates group together, where the other Ghanaian representative Alex is cooling off in the new Big Brother house, has not done any nominations yet.
They had a task today; to bake cake, compose a song, and decorate the house with balloons among other things to celebrate the 125 anniversary of Coca Cola. The same task was given to the "Heads" housemates. But for now, the game is officially on and only Big Brother knows what is coming next. Stay tuned.
