Zimbabwean songbird to perform at Big Brother

SONGBIRD Cindy Munyavi has every reason to be ecstatic after being afforded a rare chance to perform at the Big Brother Amplified Live Eviction Show this Sunday. Cindy has promised a flawless act,
"I'm excited about it. I am going to make my country proud. "I just hope everyone will be watching and I hope ZTV will air it for the benefit of those who do not watch Big Brother," said the silky-voiced artiste.
Cindy also said that such opportunities were her steps to stardom and only the sky is the limit. "These are the first stages to stardom.
"I have done a song with an international producer, Riley Urick, who has worked with various big artistes.
"Sharing the stage with Beenie Man was also a big achievement and things continue happening for me.
"The Big Brother stint will surely put me on the international spotlight.
"Though they are just baby steps, I'm grateful for all these opportunities," she said. Cindy, who is set to leave for Mzansi on Friday, says the song she will be performing will be her first single from her next project, adding that it will be a "surprise" to her fans.
"As soon as I come back from South Africa, I will be working on the video to the single," she said. Last year, another local artiste, Stunner also performed at the Big Brother Live Eviction Show.
