An exhibition featuring works by young artists will open during Intwasa Arts Festival KoBulawayo, which runs from September 19 to 25.
The exhibition is targeting artists who are yet to exhibit and are looking at making a breakthrough into the mainstream art world.
The co-ordinator of the Namuhla Lakusasa exhibition, Voti Thebe, said young emerging artists find it hard to have an exhibition of their own due to the costs involved.
Thebe, who is also the director of the National Gallery in Bulawayo, said a lot of untapped talent will be seen at the exhibition. He added they are still accepting work from young artists for the exhibition that will open on September 22.
The exhibition will be wholly funded by Intwasa Arts Festival.
