Oliver Mutukudzi has described the late Andy Brown as a larger than life character, whose contribution to the local arts sector will be cherished forever.
Tuku made these remarks at a church service for the late 'Muzukuru' held at a Harare funeral parlor this Tuesday evening.
"Andy Brown was a fearless and frank person, who helped many musicians to ascend the musical ladder," said Mutukudzi.
The funeral service was attended by artists and Andy Brown's close relatives, including his former wife, Chiwoniso Maraire and other artists such as Lawrence Haisa and Mechanic Manyeruke, among others.
The facilitators for Brown's funeral said they have taken it upon themselves to give him a befitting send off, adding that the body will be ferried to Brown's rural home in Mberengwa on Wednesday morning, where he will be buried on Thursday.
Andy Brown died on Friday last week and is survived by 10 Children.
Mourners are currently gathered at number 10 Gibbons Avenue in Cranborne.
