THIS week it emerged that Bishop Keith Harrington's International Theological Seminary of California, US, (ITSC) the school that gorgeous Generations actress Sophie Ndaba aka Queen Moroka's husband claims he received his doctorate in theology and other disciplines from, may not exist at all.

Harrington caught everybody with their pants down when he married his businesswoman wife and celebrity wedding planner Ndaba in a closely guarded, surprise and secret wedding in December last year.

After several attempts by Sunday World to contact ITSC on March 6, the name constantly came up as (ITS).

The registrar at ITS, who would not divulge her name, said that "as far she is concerned she has not seen the [Harrington] school at all", despite being in proximity of its address.

However, ITSC has no website, despite claiming on Harrington's "certificates" to have been founded in 1985. It only has a Facebook page that has no picture of the institution.

"I've been trying to tell you all along that I've never seen the place. We're not aware of this seminary. That's why when you search International Theological Seminary of California our name appears," said the registrar.

"This confuses people to think that we are the same school as them; we are not. We don't offer degrees and doctorates, and we certainly have no association with any person that can go awarding honorary doctorates. They do not have a website and we don't know their building."

Harrington has allegedly been awarding "honorary doctorates" on behalf of International Theological Seminary of California, collecting between R3000 and R6000 from prospective "honorary recipients". Harrington recently awarded "honorary degrees" at the Ministry of Miracles, a church in Gugulethu, in Cape Town.

He claims to be the African President of International Theological Seminary of California. Yesterday he forwarded a plethora of documents via his "assistant" Jerome Thwala, who showed up at SundayWorld's offices. One of the documents says he is African Director of ITSC.

His doctorate certificate reads :

Name: Bishop Keith Clint Harrington, 08 June 2002.

Degree Earned: Doctor of Divinity.

However, another document appears to have consolidated a number of his degrees, and some give his new title as a "Prof":

Certificate of Charter: This is to certify that: International Theological Seminary of CA in Africa: Prof. Keith Harrington, Ph.D, Th.,D, D. D.
