Zimbabwe dancehall star Winky D regards "unfounded" allegations against him awash on Facebook as works of his detractors coveting his status as the country's dancehall king.

Two women have hogged the limelight on the social network after both claimed to have been impregnated by the ninja president.

One is claiming to have miscarried while the other insists she is still carrying the dancehall king's baby.

Interestingly, the two alleged Winky D lovers have posted a series of offensive messages against each other.

Winky D's manager Jonathan Banda told the Daily News the exchanges between these two "scorned" lovers of the popular artiste are clear attempts to tarnish his reputation.

"Whatever is being said on Facebook against Winky D is a load of nonsense", said Banda.

"Nobody should waste time giving undeserved attention to these immature issues. I know where all this is emanating from. These are the people trying to ruin Winky D but am very sure they won't win," he said bitterly.

The ninja president's manager claims to know the identities of the people behind the onslaught on Winky D's character on Facebook.

"These people attempting to tarnish Winky D's image are part of the Zimbabwe music industry.

"I cannot mention their names at the moment," he added.

"Winky D has reached a very high level that has made him an easy target of a jealousy mob but as usual he will stand firm. Winky won't be dragged into this stupidity," said Banda who never allows his artiste to speak directly to the press.

"My boy won't in way be moved by these fabricated stories.

"Actually the people involved are engaging in a losing battle with through this project of shame," he said.

Banda attacked the press for being easily duped into carrying highly defamatory stories that are unfounded.

"Do you guys do your homework? You can't even tell where all this is emanating from", he said.
