Big Brother Africa - The Chase couple Pokello Nare and Elikem Kumordzie are still keeping their marriage plans under wraps.

Rumour monger both parties have already met their would-be in-laws with most people waiting to know when the two are getting married as they promised the world.

In an interview with the Herald Entertainment on Monday, Elikem spoke about his life and ambitions.

He talked about how Pokello is addicted to shoes and how their love is still stronger than ever.

They said the reason for keeping their plans a secret.

"When you are trying to make it in life some people are there to pull you down. In fact I don't trust the media at all.

"A lot of bad things have been said to me especially the Ghanaian media who are full of lies.

"They once said we are doing a public stunt but look where we are right now.

"We are still together, loving each other big time. Another story published recently was that I fathered a child but if you check closely my age and the age of the kid, both don't tally," said Elikem

Elikem who flew back from Zambia on Sunday, where he was promoting his movie career could neither deny nor confirm marriage plans.

"Yes they are a marriage plan that is if we are not married already.

"Talking about our wedding, it is something that is going to be big and that would be spoken about for a quite a long time," said the tailor-cum-actor.

Asked if they are staying together Elikem said:  "We do not stay together. When I am here, Pokello stays at her house while I will be staying somewhere,"

He said they are not planning anything about having children.

"Just like any other couple, we say children are a blessing and we let God take control."

Elikem said his home country was the best in terms of women and food.

"Ghananian women are more beautiful compared to Zimbabwean women because they know how to take good care of themselves fashion wise.

"They have manners and are well cultured, I can say they are ahead and better off than Zimbo ladies except for my Pokello who has lived up to my billing.

"My country food is the best though I enjoy sadza, maguru and spinach leaves cooked here a lot," he said.

The 25-year-old dismissed rumours that he has a shop in Zimbabwe.

"Like I said before media has been publicising false information.

"I don't have a shop in Zimbabwe but my clothes- designs are sold in Pokello's shop," he said.

Elikem said they are not relocating because of their business.

"I have been in and out of Zimbabwe because of two reasons.

"Pokello and business. I am a tailor and a movie star so you see how my lifestyle is," he said.

Elikem later said he is coping up with Shona words very well.

"The first Shona word that I learnt and understood was mukuwasha amongst other words such as ndeipi, uri bhoo, and tatenda."
