Bev hints on wedding

FORMER pole dancer Beverly Sibanda could soon be walking down the aisle if her statements on Friday should be taken seriously.

Now a member of Pastor Magaya's Prophetic Healing and Deliverance (PHD) Ministries, Bev was speaking at the official opening of her boutique Classic Fashions along Kwame Nkrumah Avenue, Harare.

She said she was now leading a decent life and had plans to wed soon.

The former dancer also urged other women that had gathered to witness the event to go to church and live better lives.

Asked who she intended to wed, Bev refused to disclose the name of the "lucky" man, inviting a barrage of questions on whether or not it was South Africa-based footballer Khama Billiat whom she once claimed to be dating.

"You are asking me about Khama; why are you not asking me about the shop?" she quipped.

"This is the reason why I did not want to speak to this reporter. Why are you concerned about that? He could be the one I intend to wed."

But Oscar Pambuka, spokesperson of PHD Ministries, confirmed that Bev was in a relationship, although he refused to shed more light. He also ruled out Khama as the potential groom.

"She is dating someone it is true, but certainly not Khama. Only that she is not ready to disclose the identity," he said.
