Flamboyant rapper, Ex-Q (real name Enock Munhenga)'s marriage of six years is teetering on the brink of collapse amid accusations the rapper left his wife and two kids and is now staying with a 'sugar mummy' (name supplied) in the plush suburb of Mt Pleasant.
Ex-Q is alleged to have left his wife, Irene Office, citing she was a stumbling block to the development of his music career.
The Mazirudo hitmaker confirmed the separation but shredded claims that he 'eloped' to an older and rich woman.
"Well, I can confirm that I separated with my wife because of some irreconcilable differences and it happens in any relationship. But claims that I dumped her for an older woman are unfounded and coming from haters who want to tarnish my image and kill my career," said Ex-Q.
However, sources who spoke to The Zimbabwe Mail on condition of anonymity insisted that Ex-Q is in a romantic relationship with an older woman.
The source alleged that he (Ex-Q) in fact went on a romantic getaway with his new lover to Nyanga where they were booked at Troutbeck Inn Hotel over the just-ended holidays.
"During the holidays, they went to Nyanga with the woman's three children. Ex-Q even posted pictures on his facebook and he deliberately posted those in which he was alone," revealed the source.
Ex-Q confirmed visiting Nyanga over the holidays but said it was a family visit to his rural home.
Office preferred to remain mum over the matter but her friends revealed she was 'heartbroken'.
"Irene is more of a quiet person, that is why she does not want to discuss that matter in the press. I can tell you she is heartbroken because Ex-Q is not even taking care of their two kids, Trey and Tiara," revealed her close friend who spoke on condition of anonymity.
Meanwhile, EX-Q said he was concentrating on his first love – music.
"For now, I am concentrating on my number one passion of music and I am not in a rush to get into a relationship," he said.
