DJ Munya murder case: Prosecution gets ultimatum

Radio presenter, Munyaradzi Milimo aka DJ Munya, accused of killing a man he suspected of having an extra marital affair with his wife last year, will soon be removed from remand if the state fails to furnish the trial date by December 30, a Harare magistrate has said.

Presiding magistrate Milton Serima dismissed an application of refusal of further remand filed last week by the trio's lawyer, Lucky Mawuwa.

He ruled that state be given more time to avail a trial date for the accused persons.

Milimo and his alleged accomplices Taurai Jani and Mohammed Matare are charged with kidnapping and murdering Tinashe Magorimbo through poisoning.
