Tuku fails to secure seat on Air Zimbabwe

Music sensation Oliver Mtukudzi will be forced to travel by bus to Bulawayo tomorrow after he failed to secure a seat on national airline Air Zimbabwe.

Mtukudzi will be performing at the closing ceremony of the Ibumba Festival in Makokoba.

Sources within the festival's organising committee said Mtukudzi had been booked to board a luxury coach from the capital to Bulawayo.

"He has been booked to travel in one of the luxury coaches because Air Zimbabwe is fully booked. There was nothing else we could do," said the source.

Mtukudzi will be performing in Bulawayo for the second time in five days after staging a show to a fully packed The Groove pub on Wednesday.

He will be travelling to South Africa on Monday for a music festival.
