The 'Ice Ice Baby' singer, Vanilla Ice, has reportedly been arrested and faces burglary charges.
The one-time rapper, who reinvented himself as a TV construction boss, allegedly took furniture, a pool heater, bicycles and other items from a foreclosed house in an unincorporated part of Palm Beach County, Lantana police Chief Sean Scheller told the Daily News.
The 47-year-old surrendered to cops and led detectives on a tour of his properties Wednesday so they can look for any other stolen items, police said.
"He's being very cooperative," Scheller said.
Ice, whose real name is Robert Matthew Van Winkle, has been renovating a house in the neighbourhood for his show, "The Vanilla Ice Project," on the DIY Network.
Agents for the vacant, bank-owned home next door called the cops after realising someone had broken in and taken a number of valuables.
Lantana detectives served a search warrant on Ice's property and recovered several of the hot items, authorities said.
Ice offered a sworn statement but stopped short of a full confession, Scheller said.
"He's got a different recollection of where the property was stored," the chief said.
The TV star is expected to be booked into the Palm Beach County jail on felony charges of burglary and grand theft later Wednesday after he's through speaking with detectives, police said.
The DIY Network issued a terse statement following the arrest, saying, "DIY Network has been made aware of this situation and is currently looking into the matter," the statement said.
