Comedian BRINGS new life to Cotton Country Inn

Carl Joshua Ncube seems to continue defying his critics daily and this time has branched into the tourism sector through his recent take over of the Cotton Country Inn boutique hotel in Kadoma with wife Nelsy Ncube.
Carl a celebrated designer, animator, stand up comedian and celebrity chef has pointed out that this move to Kadoma begins a new stage to a plan he has always had to control all the variables and determine new products that will bring greater marketing attention to Zimbabwe under the banner of Feel Good Zimbabwe.
Carl and his wife Nelsy who between them have over 2 decades of hospitality experience under their belt found themselves with the unique opportunity to get a management contract to a hotel that used to be an old favorite in Kadoma but was not doing well of late. Carl says that though a radical transformation of the product from within this hotel in Kadoma is soon to become a gem in the crown of Zimbabwe's great tourism products.
So far it is already evident the changes Carl has made have already started to yield fruits, as the new general manager Carl has already streamlined the menu to adhere to a consistent restaurant standard while offering great value for money, this was achieved by minimizing the ingredients used to make the dishes and respecting ingredients to get the best flavor from the cooking processes adopted.
Besides that, this husband and wife team have been drilling their philosophy into their staff who they stated had so many years of experience and it has been an absolute joy to see increased levels of motivation from their dedicated team. The hotel currently offers a great alternative to people traveling the much used Bulawayo to Harare highway giving people something to look forward to on the journey.
Another secret weapon that the Ncube's possess in their turnaround strategy surprisingly has been the acquisition of a dog named Chefie. Carl has already started using his new puppy in his marketing drive, prompting many people to travel to Kadoma to get that all important picture with arguably the most famous dog in Zimbabwe at the moment, these pictures have been nicknamed "CHELFIES" taken from the social media term of selfies. To give perspective to the credit in Carl's marketing strategy, his own dog already has a number of product endorsements and soon Carl says will even start making a living thanks to enquiries already received for weddings!
It is nothing short of incredible that we have seen Carl rise through the ranks to prove himself as one of the biggest creative forces in the marketing strategy and advertising sector then in the animation sector before becoming one of Zimbabwe's biggest comedy exports and overnight has become a cooking sensation through his Carl Can Cook brand. It now stands to see how Carl combines all of these skills to bring a new excitement to the city of Kadoma.
We have over the years seen Carl literally take a concept from absolutely nothing and grow it into a celebrated industry, no doubt the designer turned comic turned chef turned social media strategist turned hotelier and his wife are certainly up for a challenge to turn a property that had stopped performing profitably into TOURIST ATTRACTION.
