Sungura musician Nicholas Zakaria finally turned up at Esigodini on Saturday and apologised to his fans for snubbing them for Prophetic, Healing and Deliverance Ministries (PHD) international crusade in Botswana.

Zakaria blamed his Esigodini promoters of rushing to advertise his show without checking with him.

However, on Saturday, Zakaria did not disappoint as he performed to a bumper crowd, NewsDay reported.

"I would like to thank you for coming; I am sorry about what happened last week. I promise to continue visiting you Esigodini," he said.

One of the show organisers only identified as Asan thanked the people of Esigodini for being part of the event despite the previous week's hiccups.

"I am happy that the people of Esigodini turned up and they didn't disappoint us, Even Zakaria told me that he was impressed with the turnout and he promised to return soon," he said.

Zakaria - who has since dropped the title Madzibaba associated with his former apostolic sect - put up a scintillating performance at Jabula Inn.
