Judith Sephuma. Trenyce. Lira. Dj Euphonik. Mi Casa. Tumisho Masha. Danny_K. Evangelist Angus Buchan. Elvis Blue. Madai. Tony Gaskins. Mapumba. Toya Delazy. Lady Lea. We Will Worship. – These are just a few names of much acclaimed top African and in some cases international celebrities who were exclusively featured on the website that celebrates true love, WeddingAnthem.co.za.
The featured guests are esteemed personalities in their own right. The collective awards among some of these icons include a Grammy Award, Metro FM Awards, South African Music Awards (SAMAs), M-net Idols winner, Global Young Leaders Award, SABC Crown Gospel Awards, Matlosana Entertainment Music Award, MTV African Music Award and Channel O Awards.
"The website raises an anthem that celebrates true love. It attracts questors of true love from all over the world. Love - true love - is indeed a melting pot that continues to captivate not only poets, artists and singers, but the ordinary human being regardless of race, gender and geographical divide," says Phindiwe Nkosi, Director: Wedding Anthem.
According to Phindiwe, feedback from readers and featured guests soared to an all-time high this month. Letters flooded in – a trickle of which were published – calling for the identification of true love, celebrating the love they know and in some cases wanting to fix broken hearts.
"We encourage our readers to continue to write and send in love letters. We will continue to selectively publish a few on our site free of charge, for love is something to be celebrated. What's worth mentioning from the onset is that most of our readers and featured guests do believe in true love. The descriptions thereof differ immensely, but it is what it is to them,"
The site has received love letters from all over the world and will continue to randomly select and post them on www.weddinganthem.co.za. They are not just intended for romantic lovers, but friends, family and even innate objects.
