Vanessa Sibanda says she is ready to settle down and have children soon. The former beauty queen-turned-singer said like any other woman, it was her dream to get married and have "lots of children".
"Obviously, it is every girl's dream to settle down and I am readying myself for marriage and I want to have many children," she hinted.
But the question that many of her fans have been asking is: Who is this lucky guy?
However, the svelte model opened up in an interview with The Herald Entertainment last week and hinted that she was in a serious relationship and will soon tie the knot.
"I don't want to go into the details of the affair. All I can say is that I am in a serious relationship and it's been good," she said.
Asked to disclose the name of the guy or whether he is Zimbabwean or not, Queen Vanessa, which is her alter ego, could not say much and skirted the issue saying he was African.
"You will be the first one to know, and all I can say is that he is very much African and I won't elaborate," she said.
This is the first time that Queen Vanessa has talked about being in a relationship and it appears she's having a blissful affair.
Unlike most girls, who when they find "Mr Right" get excited and move in quickly without formalising marriage, Queen Vanessa is taking it one step at a time.
"There is one or two outstanding issues that I need to sort out before I get married and one of them is to see how my album fares," she said.
She was spotted cruising in a sleek white ML63 AMG, dressed in a Rena Mariane's figure-hugging all-black winter dress and Salvatoe Ferragamo heels. She not only turned heads but was also mobbed by her adoring fans including teenagers who recognised her as Miss Zimbabwe.
"Wow, who is that girl? Excuse me are you Miss Zimbabwe?" one fan asked. Later she had pictures taken with some of her fans in the city centre before she sped off. So humble is Queen Vanessa that although she had a tight schedule, she managed to stop and chat with people from all walks of life.
Since she launched her music career last year, Queen Vanessa has been releasing single after single as well as a couple of jaw dropping videos.
The singer, who turns 24 on September 19, is making waves down in South Africa where she set up base in Morningside. She is currently topping the charts with her singles "Hey Lover" featuring another Zimbabwean artiste, Buffalo Souljah, "Babe Babe Babe" and "Done with Your Lies" which hit the 70 000 mark online. Queen Vanessa has staged shows in some of the upmarket clubs like Zar and Ikon, both in Sandton as well as Hush. One of her dreams is to do a duet with superstar Oliver Mtukudzi and other Zimbabwean artistes, according to the former catwalk queen.
Queen Vanessa is, however, spending most of her time doing music rather than modelling.
"It's been long since I've been on the ramp because music is taking most of my time, but if there are any fashion designers that wish to work with me, I will gladly do that," she said.
