KHULEKANI Bethule, better known in music circles as Khuxman, is set to release a four-track project at the end of September that will be a prelude to his highly anticipated sixth album.

The project follows hot on the heels of his single, Vumela Sangoma, which has dominated dance floors and playlists across Bulawayo.

The track, whose chorus is based on the lyrics of a traditional Ndebele song, has seen the artiste gain further popularity as people have embraced his unique sound.

Speaking to Chronicle Entertainment recently, Khuxman said people should look out for the promotional project which is meant to promote his album.

The album will be released later this year. "This project that I am releasing is a promotional one which I hope will give publicity to my upcoming full-length album. The project is not an album itself, but will be released for the sole purpose of propelling sales and boosting the popularity of my upcoming album," said Khuxman.

He said songs in the project had thus far been warmly received, adding that if the public had loved the Vumela Sangoma track, they should look forward to the upcoming album as it had songs which they were going to enjoy.

"Listeners have shown appreciation of the songs wherever they have been played.

I think these songs will be embraced by the people the same way that my previous tracks have been, if not more," said Khuxman.

He said people should expect fireworks on his upcoming album, which he said was going to be packed with surprises as he wanted the album, his sixth, to be top notch.

"I promise people a lot of surprises on this album.

After the success of Vumela Sangoma I do not want to present the people who have supported me with a shoddy piece of work," said Khuxman.

He said the people of Bulawayo should look forward to and support the album as without their support all the efforts that artistes put in would be for nothing.

"I request the people of Bulawayo to come out in support of my project, because for our efforts to bear fruit as artistes, we need the people in our city to support us," said Khuxman.
