ALL roads tonight lead to Musopero open-air joint in Gweru, where Derrick Majaiva is expected to share the stage with superstar Oliver Mtukudzi and Winky D.

The much-awaited gig has been dubbed Woza.

In an interview, Majaivana said it was an honour to be included in a line up of the most successful Zimbabwean musicians.

"I am happy to be performing alongside the likes of Oliver and Winky D and everyone in my band is ready to go.

"I can tell you that Zulu Band is out to prove that it is still a force to reckon with in the Zimbabwean music industry," he said.

Majaiva said he is going to use the Gweru show as a platform to market his album that is expected to be released next month.

The Zulu Band front man said his forthcoming album is a five track album and it has the flair that used to be produced by his father, Lovemore Majaiva.

"Bayamemeza is a five track album that was supposed to be released sometime in December but we had some logistical problems that later forced us to postpone everything.

"At the moment my producers are mastering the whole project and in March the album will be in different record bars countrywide," he said.

Majaiva said fans should expect a variety in terms of his music as he is going to fuse his music with his father's.

The musician said he was committed to give fans value for their money at tonight's show.

Majaiva said some of the songs that are part of his forthcoming album include Bayamemeza, Angekemvume, Amathendele, Ntandane, Kuntuthu and Moyawami (remix). Music promoter Sithembinkosi Matiza said everything was set for tonight's show and urged fans to come in their large numbers.

"We have just signed our contracts with the musicians and everything is going according to our schedule.

"Winky D is going to be performing with his live band called the Vigilance Band so it is going to be a gig to remember," she said.

Matiza said the show was for all age groups.

The promoter said superstar Mtukudzi was expected to play different songs from his latest album called Sarawoga.

Some of the songs that are expected to be played include the famous Watitsvata (Pata Pata) Huroyi and Chiringa.

"We are urging fans to come in their numbers as the musicians have promised to give their best," she said.
