POPULAR South African actors Thami Mngqolo and Anga Makubalo, who feature in the SABC 1 soapie Generations, are set to invade the city next week at the invitation of a local night club.
Mngqolo and Makubalo, who are known as Senzo and MJ respectively on the soapie, would make guest appearances at Club Forty 40 on November 9.
The actors' appearance at the night club would be part of Forty 40's first anniversary celebrations.
Mthokozisi Ncube, one of the organisers of the celebrations, confirmed the visit by the two popular actors.
"We are bringing in the two actors from South Africa as part of our first anniversary and we hope the show will be a success," Ncube said.
"We are bringing in the women's favourites and this is a way of treating our female patrons."
Ncube added that the actors would mix and mingle with their fans and do photoshoots among other activities lined up the whole night.
Entertainment will be provided by DJ Emity Smooth and D-Rock.
Ncube urged fans to come in their numbers.
"Fans, television lovers and music lovers should come and enjoy and help us celebrate our one-year achievement, it's not about the club and its management only, but it's about our valued patrons who make this place what it is and November 9 is their night," he said.
The 23-year-old Makubalo is a multi-talented artist. Besides acting he is a brilliant house vocalist.
He made his debut on Generations late 2011. The Johannesburg-based musician hit the ground running playing a 17-year-old spoilt brat almost two years ago on the popular soapie.
