Renowned tjibilika musician Chase Skuza will, at the end of this month, release his long awaited eight-track album titled Uphawu luka Skuza.
Skuza Thursday told The Zimbabwe Mail that Uphawu luka Skuza was his 21st album and was hoping the album will excite his fans.
"My album talks about how we, as a people, should be proud of our culture and where we come from," he said.
"I am sure that many people will relate with my album because there is a mixture of gospel, tshibilika, mbaqanga and also traditional songs that will help us preserve our culture regardless of the different backgrounds that we come from."
The album comprises of songs such as Uphawu luka Skuza, Ezakithi, Umgewu, Makwande, Nkosi, Sabela, Umoya and Umdudla.
Due to some unspecified difficulties, Skuza's album, which was set for launch earlier this year, was postponed to the end of this month on a date yet to be announced.
"I am happy to say that this month end I will be launching my album as I have already recorded the album in Harare at Diamond Studios," he said
"I have worked hard on this album and am hoping that my fans will respond positively to my latest offering. I hope that this album will get nominated in the Namas."
Skuza is the younger brother of the legendary Solomon Skuza who was famous for his song Banolila.
