Mutare urban groove artist drops single

MUTARE - Local based urban groove artist Charles Taura has dropped his single entitled "Ndavakunzi Daddy" which is widely appreciated by local urban groove fans.
This 28 year old artist, who is best known by his stage name Charly Nyz's latest offering, unlike his usual meals of deep urban groove, this time he mixed with some hip hop flavour to showcase his versatility in music.
"Ndavakunzi Daddy is a song that appreciates the role played by women in shaping men and this time I mixed the song with some hip hop flavour to show my versatility in music," said Taura. Charly Nyz started his carrier at a tender age.
He was a member of percussion Band at Mutasa Primary School in Watsomba.
Zvimwe Newe hit maker told Pungwe News Entertainment that he started taking music as a carrier at the age of 23 when he formed a band group and later left the group to do a solo carrier.
"At the age of 23 I co-founded a band group named Xturnal and released hit such as Paidamoyo, KwaMutare and Ngoma Tatsemura. We later parted ways as we all became solo artists," said Charly Nyz.
Charly Nyz, who is locally inspired by Nox and internationally by Neyo, said he is set to release the video soon
"Fans can expect the video of Ndavakunzi Daddy sometime in June," said Charly Nyz.
In the past Charly Nyz has produced hits such as Muera Gumbo and Ukatamba which features Diamond Kid and Tin Shart, the songs are doing well on local station Diamond FM.
Asked what he do apart from music Charly Nyz said, "I am a graphics designer and I host the famous show dubbed 'All Ladies Night Out" at Mandisa night club on Fridays with DJ Silver and DJ Silcon.
