Diva Ammara Brown renews her love affair with Bulawayo on Friday night, a few days after she named the city her favourite place to perform in Zimbabwe.
The songbird has had a series of shows in the last few months, entertaining revellers at BAC Lounge and Club Connect where she received praise from fans for her performances.
On Friday, Brown returns to the City of Kings for a maiden outing at Eden Night Club.
"Bulawayo has honestly become my favourite Zim city to perform in. Friday it's on," she said when she announced the gig on her social media pages this week.
According to her publicist Tsungi Zvogbo, the songbird's comments were inspired by the reception that she had received on her prior visits to the City of Kings.
"The energy levels from the crowd whenever she has come to perform in Bulawayo have been unbelievable. As an artiste there is nothing greater than seeing people enjoy your performance because that also spurs you on. That is why she said what she said about Bulawayo," said Zvobgo.
According to the star's publicist, live performances were also helping Brown build a relationship with fans in the country's second largest city. Previously performances by Brown have been rare in Bulawayo, but that seems to have changed in the last few months as she is fast becoming a stable on the Bulawayo live performance circuit.
