Star FM disc jockey (DJ) and producer, Ndumiso Dube, yesterday failed to produce enough evidence to support his claim of having five other children, after being dragged to court over maintenance.
Dube, popularly known as "Skywalker", only produced two birth certificates.
When he first appeared in court on Tuesday, he argued that he could not afford to pay $300 in child support.
This was after the mother of his child, only identified as Maseko, said the DJ was neglecting their one-month-old child.
Maseko told the court, Dube did not provide for her since she was pregnant.
She told Harare Civil Court magistrate, Gamuchirai Siwardi that Dube was an event organiser and a musician besides working at Star FM.
Maseko produced Dube's payslip saying the DJ earns $700 but realises more than $1 400 from his part-time projects.
"From the past projects he has undertaken, he got $1 400 and he later received $700 in my presence. He has managed to buy a new vehicle, and a farm in Bindura," argued Maseko.
Dube refuted Maseko's allegations saying he never received any money in her presence and offered to pay $150 for child support, up from the $60 that he offered on his prior appearance.
The DJ also told the court that the money he realises from his part time projects depends on the availability of those projects.
