Superstar Oliver Mtukudzi, who is also the Goodwill ambassador of the Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe (CAAZ), was late Monday scheduled to perform before more than 350 delegates who have converged in Victoria Falls for the Routes Africa Forum.

They settled for Tuku because of their need for top notch entertainment.

"We have settled for the best, Oliver (Mtukudzi) is class, we want to showcase the best to our delegates. As you know, we are on a drive and you can only drive with the best," said the public relations officer for Caaz Anna Julia Hungwe yesterday.

"Tuku is an international artist and it is only fitting that he is given a slot at this convergence,"

Tuku, the granddad of Zimbabwean music, and his wife Daisy arrived in Victoria Falls on Sunday morning and Tuku was scheduled to lead a five-piece band for the show last night.

"Like all the shows, we will give our best, the band is in full support of Routes and its endeavor to unlock Zimbabwe tourism," said Tuku's manager Sam Mataure.

Delegates were expected to be treated to Mtukudzi's variety of great hits like Neria, a film soundtrack of a movie with the same name, Todii and many more.

"Basically Tuku is expected to play international crowd favourites," said Mataure.
