South African based ace Zimbabwean Kalanga Rhumba outfit Mlambos Express Band, popularly known as the Super Legends will this festive season rock the City of Bulawayo for the first time since its inception.
The Super Legends at the moment arguably the best Zimbabwean Musical group and fast making its way to the top will hold its derby show in the City of Kings at Palace Hotel Gardens on the 20th of December in what is certainly billed to be a sale out show. The group originally from Plumtree has taken the South African music industry by storm having sale out shows every week throughout the South African towns.
Mlambos Express Band raised Zimbabwe's flag high when early this year it became the first Zimbabwean group to be accorded an hour long session on South Africa's top community TV channel Soweto TV. The band has also been the first Zimbabwean group to go on a country wide tour of South Africa's major centres attracting huge turnout from both Zimbabwean and South African communities in the areas.
To announce its arrival into the Zimbabwean music sectors the group will hold 17 shows around Matabeland provinces. The band is expected to start the tour of the region with a show in Gwanda Town on the 19th of December before moving to Bulawayo's Palace Hotel for the main show of the tour. The following day, the group will take the tour to the spacious Athens Gardens in Esigodini. After Esigodini the tour will go to various rural areas of the region which will include areas like Maphisa, Fatima, Tsholotsho, Plumtree, Lupane before concluding the tour in Hwange and Victoria Falls in January next year.
"I want to assure the fans that they will have the best time of their lives from Mlambos Express Band. We are coming with new songs and new dances and just want to assure the fans that we are indeed on our way up," said Ndlovu.
