Sungura godfather Nicholas Zakaria a.k.a Senior Lecturer has releases his 27th album titled "Rumbidzo" which in English means "Praise".
The album carries powerful messages.
Songs include:
1 - Pamutanda: Pamutanda is a chewa word which means "On the Cross" ...in the song, Zakaria is encouraging people to seek Jesus while they are still alive.
2 - Rudo Runokosha: We must love one another, if you don't have love in your heart you are nothing on this earth.
3 - Mbiri ndeyaMwari: this song encourages people to humble themselves, too much pride annoys God.
4 - Mwari anogona - in this song, Zakaria is expressing his happiness, he goes on to say Mumoyo mangu mune mufaro usingaperi, because of the love that he has in his heart and the intelligence that he was given by the almighty Lord
5-Pane nyaya: a touching song that encourages people to repent.
6- Wakakodzera- this song goes to those who undergrade themselves, you may be poor, blind, disables but To God that doesnt matter, we are all equal before God our Creator
The instruments were arranged very well
on the song Rudo Runokosha, each and every one got a chance to show his talents
The Rhythmists, Knowledge Kapfupi and Devine Mukombwe did the unexpectable, I dont regret saying they are 2 of the Best 10 rhythmists in Zimbabwe Ray Chimwanda, the bassist did what he knows best Godknows Landirani- the backing vocalist was given the chance to sing alone and he proved why he is Called Zimbabwe's number 1 backing vocalist
Nicholas Zakaria, the man himself got into the Studio to prove a point, a lot of people thought the Khiama Ship was slowly sinking but he proved them wrong
