GANGLY musician Jah Prayzah is set to rock the United Kingdom when he takes his act to that country later this month.
Jah Prayzah, real name Mukudzeyi Mukombe, is affectionately known by his legion of fans as Musoja (Soldier) after his signature band uniform of military regalia.
He is booked for June 27 at Maher Centre in Leicester and will launch his latest offering - Jesusarema.
"We will be in the UK end of this month.
Our main aim this time around is to take our music to other countries and I think this is the beginning," he said.
"It gives us the encouragement to work hard and during this UK tour we are promising the best," pledged Jah Prayzah.
Jah Prayzah hit the big time in 2012 following the release of Sungano, which brought him commercial success. The album carried songs such as Sungano Yerudo and attracted much attention, including that of top music promoter Patson Chimbodza.
In 2012, Jah Prayzah released Ngwarira Kuparara, which carried tracks like Gotchi Gotchi, Maria, Ngwarira Kuparara and Dande.
The album saw him becoming a household name and he quickly became a must-get musician and regularly performed at Jazz 105.
The release of the album Tsviriyo in 2013 further consolidated his rise to the top.
