JOHANNESBURG - Record label Afrotainment says they have decided to go ahead with the launch of the new album of well-known group Big Nuz in honour of the trio's late member.
Big Nuz, a Durban based kwaito group made up of three members, blasted to fame in 2007 with their first single Uyoysholo Wena.
Sibusiso Khomo popularly known as R Mashesha died on Friday.
It's believed he suffered complications after undergoing surgery.
The owner of Afrotainment Dj Tira says Mashesha was a talented musician.
"I was fascinated by his voice and writing skills and the way he delivered his rhymes. He was the reason I fell in love with Big Nuz when I first heard their album."
Messages of condolences and tributes continue to pour in for the late musician.
Big Nuz has scooped numerous awards, including Album of the Year in 2010 at the MTN South African Music Awards for its third album Undisputed, which featured the song Umlilo.
