T1 Wema1's video to his inspiring hit, Mangwana has made it in the #ZimTopTen show on Zambezi Magic DSTV Channel 160. Mangwana is the 12th track on his official debut album, Inzwa and it is also his debut music video! The video is directed by Chris Shoca and it gives the audience a glimpse into the world that shaped T1 Wema1.
The video for the uplifting track takes us back to T1 Wema1's childhood neighbourhood, Dzivarasekwa. It depicts the hardships and daily hustle people in the ghetto have to go through to make ends meet. The video captures the hope amidst the struggle and shows that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.
The gorgeous Tanya also features and her angelic voice is a ray of light, reminding us all that it is always darkest before the dawn. What makes the video truly special is that it is real, gritty, and refreshing. It captures the essence of life in the ghetto from playing soccer and selling vegetables to playing pool with friends. The video shows that although life may be hard, it does go on and eventually it gets better.
