Bristol based Africantunz Records & Promotions releases compilation album, Undiscovered Africa

Bristol based music label Africantunz Records & Promotions releases a compilation record showcasing the best in Afro Disco & African music. Owner of the company Tom Wardle has worked closely with many of the artists for several years distributing their music in CD format throughout Europe and the wider markets. "I fell in love with the Afro-disco music when I visited many of the townships on my travels over the years. It's a combination of African folk music with a disco edge. It's full of energy and you can't help but enjoy the music."

The compilation album, Undiscovered Africa, features 15 tracks from up and coming artists from all over Africa including Nigeria, Rwanda, Botswana, Namibia, South Africa and Zimbabwe. "It's a great mix showcasing some music that people from the UK and Europe wouldn't normally get to hear. Experience the unique and undiscovered sounds brought to you on the compilation including Afro Pop, House, Reggae, Afro Disco, Gospel, Hip Hop and more.

Undiscovered Africa has already had some early promo, some You Tube clips have been uploaded, Tom has sent the songs to radios around the World, and has been mentioned in the Sunday Independent by Sam Mathe in SA and other online magazines over in Africa. In addition 2 music videos have been produced to coincide with the release, one for the song ‘Hero' from Oska Tee and another for ‘Help (Tribute To Ebola Victims) from Mpho Majiga.

In February 2016 Africantunz went over to Southern Africa to push Undiscovered Africa and placed copies in some independent stores.  The album has had very good feedback from radios and we hosted a launch party in Johannesburg which had high attendance.

Undiscovered Africa is available in CD format and digitally worldwide from, iTunes, Amazon etc. Tom is also hoping to stock it in some local music stores in Bristol, UK and Worldwide where African music is becoming more popular.
