Budding hip-hop artistes Panashe Samuriwo aka Magic Boi and Trust Mandaza aka T-les have released a single in honour of the President's son, Robert (Jnr).

Titled "Robert Jnr", the track talks about the lifestyle of the President's first son and how he is a role model to other boys of his age.

In an interview the duo said they were inspired by the young man's humility. "As young as we are, we wish to be like him. Just being the son of one of Africa's best leaders alone means a lot," they said.

"Robert Jnr is one person who is humble and gentle.

"Away from that he is just a role model to us, the way he dresses inspires a number of youngsters.

"To us everything about him is inspiring hence we decided to dedicate a song for him," they noted.

The duo also highlighted that they are working on a video for the single where they are looking forward to feature Robert Jnr.

"We are currently working on a video for the track and on this video we are looking forward to feature him.

"The video is going to be out soon."

Robert Jnr has interests in basketball. He started his career when he was still in primary school at Kutama.

He once played for the Zimbabwe national basketball Under-18 team.

One of his notable appearances was when he featured for the Zimbabwean squad in the Zone 6 games held in Harare in 2010.
