MazQartel releases track for Mustafa social soccer team

MASHAVA-MazQartel aka Aaron Masuku (30) a local Zimdancehall artist has released another track titled "Mustafa" as a tribute to the social soccer outfit from Mucheke area.

According tom Masvingo Mirror the track is proving to be very popular among the fans of the club as it has gone viral on the social media where it is receiving a lot of airplay.

 "I dedicate this song to my fellow players of Mustafa FC in order to motivate them as they play the game and the main sponsor Collen Maboke thanking him for the exceptional things he has done since I started recording," said MazQartel.

Mustafa FC has been winning social league tournaments for a long time since its formation.

The new song is normally played after the team has won during celebrations at famous Mustafa bottle store in Mucheke.

The dancehall artist dons dreadlocks and his songs have lyrics with traditional beat as a result his fans call him the local Jah Prayzah.

MazQartel who is currently recording at Unique Studios is also into writing songs for other artists and has recorded nine singles so far with four being hits, "Mukana, Pashoma Pashoma, Song for Pretty and Mustafa.

He has promised more singles and an album to come soon with videos to his fans to uphold music production in Masvingo.  

The energetic musician ventured into the industry in 2003 singing gospel music with a group called "Voice of Vision" and another one known as "Destined". The artist who is inspired by a number of musicians like Thomas 'Mukanya' Mapfumo, Oliver 'Tuku' Mtukudzi, Progress Chipfumo, Andy Brown and Jah Prayzah has proved to be a jack of genre of music as he can sing Zimdancehall, traditional and gospel.
