New Culture group brings new life in Zimbabwean Isicathamiya

JOHANNESBURG - Accapella group, New Culture Performing Arts has promised music fans a hit that will leave many people asking for more . The group has released its debut entitled "Isifiso Sami."
Zenzele Ngwenya, one of the group founders, said they have worked very hard to ensure that they give people the best. When asked what the group has in store to offer the Accapella music lovers Ngwenya said, "Our core aim is to ensure that we give our supporters sweet music that will heal them spiritually and put them to another level."
Ngwenya further told Switchbod Arts Magazine that they are planning to hold a show within the next two months so that they can show people what they are made of.
He was so optimistic that people will love their music because they have worked with renowned artist who helped them to release a masterpiece of an album.
The Johannesburg based Zimbabwean group has six members. It is in the plans of the group to cross the border and hold a show in their country so that their countrymen can get a taste of their music. Ngwenya said that they are willing to take their group to another level but finance is a stumbling block. He said that he prays that some well wishers could come into the part and sponsor them or alternatively promote them.
"Singing is what we love most my brother. We are failing to reach our goals because of the limited resources especially money. We wish someone could give us a helping hand in terms of cash so that our dreams come true."
The group will be meeting soon to set their date for the anticipated show . Ngwenya said that he would not like to say much about their music. He, however, said they have taken their time to cook and what is left is for people to eat and tell them how good their food is.
