Johannesburg - The Zimbabwean comedy maestro Madlela Skhobokhobo Power has been selected to represent Zimbabwe in South Africa's Hlanganani annual music festival organised by Kincha Media .The festival is scheduled for  8 October 2016 at Tembisa.

Switchbod Arts Magazine learns that the prime objective of the event is to unite different ethnic groups through music and the organizers ,upon realising the popularity of Madlela in Zimbabwe, Botswana and South Africa, saw him as a healthy addition to the program.

The line-up include the Mzansi Maskandi giants : Thokozani Langa, Mjikijelwa, Khuzani, Igcokama Elisha, Botswana's finest Charmagal, Albert Mukwevho (popular Venda culturalist ), Benny Mayengani (king of Tsonga music), Mozambique's finest Refilled, Joe Shirimani (producer of Penny penny) and alongside popular soapie Muvhango actors.

The event will be held in Tembisa where most Zimbabweans are located in Johannesburg, hence Madlela is pleased to  know that he will be performing in front of his fellow countrymen.

Madlela Dluthuli Hlokoloza known for his social controversies in the movies, is taking this event very seriously and is currently busy with the rehearsals for a top draw showpiece. Apparently the organising agency -The Kincha Media is a partnership of  king Chauke and Brian Baloyi (Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana  legendary goalkeeper).

Madlela , known for multitasking, will have to present an unforgettable musical piece on the day. However those who have watched his live stage performance will admit that his stage attack is as rough and raw as in his film.

Following the announcement many fans have appreciated Madlela, others saying "usenza abantu Dlelas," literally translated as (you make us people Dlelas).

Meanwhile the excitement is growing as diehard fans cannot wait for Saturday the 1st of October's Madlela Skhobokhobo Power DVD launch right in Hillbrow . It is an open space event backed by the Johannesburg City Parks that will feature the likes of Zinjaziyamluma, Mehlokazulu, Sikolethu, Bongani Mncube, Bozoe and ZuluDeep-a South African deep house sensation.
