The Johannesburg-based Maskandi Musician  from Nkayi North of Matabeleland,Mkhosi Ndlovu is back with a humdinger album.

Switchbod Arts Magazines learns that Mkhosi started singing from a tender age while herding cows."That is where all began, singing a self-composed song with fellow herdsmen from my village in Zudulini," he said.

The love for music was parked then and nothing could put it out. It blazed within the artist and led to the release of his debut Album he titled it "Isheleni Lam." It is a 12 tracks album with meaningful songs like Isheleni lami and Zagobhoza. Since he was not yet known in the music arenas or made any friends, he worked alone in his first offer. This proves again that he is a man on a mission to bring his fans best music possible.

His music can be listened to by all age groups. He speaks about issues that any living being can meet up with in life. Therefore his music offer advice and encourages respect and humanity amongst people.

He has skillfully carved out his own tune line that distinguishes him as a musician. Though one could say that his tune is like that of Maskandi Pioneer Bhekumuzi Luthuli. He has infused it with his personality and his music pace is neither fast nor slow. That makes his music clear and untestable since it could be pronounced well with having to swallow some.

Keeping up with that level of  bringing great musical, Mkhosi has done it again, he has new album out!  It is 12 track thrilling offer.

It is not an easy task to release an album that will stand out in the industry. But Mkhosi has managed to harmonise all the elements needed for this to be so. His fame has not spread that widely but his music set to season and colour events that will be taking in the approaching festive season.

Switchbod caught up with him  and he spelt out his brand in this way, "In this album, I worked with the guy by the name of Brian Vuma, who did the backing vocals. Unlike on the first whereby I was just the new kid on the block. I worked alone because I had not yet met any or knew them in such way that we can work together. If given the opportunity to choose who i would like to work with, it would be Isibanesinamandla (Tsholotsho King) Ufezelomnyama, they are well disciplined and they challenge me for the better I have met and spoke to them before. They humble and seem to respect towards other people. I like that a lot about them."

Swithbod asked Mkhosi what lessons has he picked up so far in his musical career and what he in he does from music? "I learnt one important lesson, that you cannot be liked by everyone. And I cannot please everybody, so I just have to be myself and present to people what I have in terms music. Apart from practicing with my guitar which I love doing. I am an experienced motor car mechanic in one of the well-known companies."

Concerning his album he said he expects  this one to do better than the first one. "The first one received the reception that was equivalent to it and my level at a time. I am happy with how the first album did give that I was new in the industry. Now I have raised the standard so I expect more from this one. It is not a demand that I place on the offer, but I have put time, I invested hours on it. There are songs in this new album like : Kwangenza'kufa, imfundo and Iqome kwaNdlovu. I strongly believe they will dominate in many functions come that time," Concluded Mkhosi
