WATCH: Musician now targeting farmers

Tobacco farmers who usually throng entertainment shows during the tobacco marketing season in Mvurwi Mashonaland Central have failed to turn up due to the ongoing cash crisis.
A lot of musicians have lined up shows in and around Mvurwi hoping to cash in on the tobacco proceeds.
Allan Chimbetu performed at Mvurwi council bar on Easter Monday targeting tobacco farmers at $2 admission which was a bit too much for the revellers.
The show was fairly attended a lot of farmers encouraged artists to be innovative in embracing the plastic money methods since they is a serious cash crises.
"These musicians should embrace the plastic money methods our money is in bank cards and Eco cash but you find them demanding hard currency there by turning us away," explained a farmer.
However, Chimbetu's fans were pleased with his stage performance. He gave a polished performance especially when he sang the late Simon's songs.
Some artists like the sungura ace Alick Macheso have adopted plastic money methods to cater for those without hard cash.
