The Red cross ambassador Alick Macheso took 30 minutes praising God for the legions of his fans at Tanza Centre in Chitungwiza yesterday (Saturday).
Baba Shero as he is affectionately known by his fans in the music circles also took time to warn motorists to drive safely.
"Rufaro kwamuri vanhu vaMwari wee, kufara kuonana nyama nemweya zviri pamwepo.
"People of God l just want to thank all of you for supporting me and Orchestra Mberikwazvo band.
"You are our bosses l always put you first in my prayers!," bellowed Macheso.
He added that a lot of people were dying on the roads due to negligent driving.
"I urge you all to drive safely always check your surrounding when you are behind the wheels.
"People are dying due to negligence on the roads ,today (Saturday) as l was coming from PaMuzinda Highway where we had a show we saw a vehicle landing on its roof, that is very bad, people of God, let us exercise caution, Hallelujah, Amen," he said.
After preaching Macheso took his guitar and started playing his old song which is still people's favourite (Shedia) with one huge lady identified as Pamela joining him on stage to shake her boobs as meant by the song "zunza mukaka".
Progress Chipfumo supported Macheso and gave his best shot in his new hair style after removing his usual dreadlocks.
New year's Eve Macheso goes to Eastern boarder Mutare, Platinum club shutting down 2017 while opening 2018 in style in which he promised to release a new album.
