The preparations for the commemorative event of Zapu President and Vice President of Zimbabwe, General Josh are at an advanced stage and the day is fast approaching.  Everybody is looking forward to this historic day.

Invites have been extended to other Zimbabwean organisations, including other friendly from organisations. Thanks to those who have already indicated that they will be coming to the event.

The list of guest speakers is being finalised, Mr Tish Malaba who gave an inspirational speech in the same event last year, is coming back by popular demand.

"I feel a sense of honour and humility to be chosen amongst hundreds of people to be the main speaker at this year's Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo's commemoration in Bradford UK for the second year running. My father taught me that when your people give you a call to duty, take heed of the call and be a civil servant not a master. Nothing can buy civility but civility buys everything, no talent is meant for the grave" Mr Malaba said in his acceptance speech.

There is going to be an array of entertainment and free food. Please come join us in showing our respect and gratitude for the sacrifices which Dr Nkomo had to undertake to bring by the freedom of the oppressor and the oppressed.
